Dromedary Award

Dromedary AwardIn today’s fast-paced world, the ability to communicate effectively is one of the best ways to ensure future growth and success.

Once again, the Dromedary Awards are in search of the very best in local Shriner International chapter's communications for web-based and creative communications.  For many years, these special awards have been recognizing exceptional communications efforts throughout Shriners International. This is an amazing opportunity for local chapters to receive recognition for their hard work, but also an opportunity to gain valuable insight on how to develop the most effective communications for the local chapters.

For 2010, the categories are set up a little differently.  Since the Web site category was extremely successful two years in a row, the category was expanded to add sub categories of Web sites, Social Media and E-mail Communications.

Dromedary Awards is granted to 6 local chapters. Each local chapter's entry is reviewed and scored by a panel of non-partial, Tampa-based judges with experience in the fields of public relations, writing, marketing and communications. The judges review the submissions using a special “Scorecard,”  One award is given to the winners of each of the 6 categories, and Honorable Mention certificates will be awarded to the top three runners-up in each category.
